In June 2018, the company disclosed that they were among a number of large Australian organisations who were impacted by a data security incident at a third party software services provider used as part of their employee recruitment process.
In response to the breach, the company immediately suspended the use of their recruitment system. Once the connected third party had taken measures to "significantly strengthen their security", which the company reported in July, they had made the decision to reactivate the use of their recruitment services.
