Personal data of job applicants is at risk after hack of connected third party


In June 2018, the city council disclosed that their job applicants' information had been breached after one of their connected third parties' systems was infected by malware.

The exposed information included names, contact details, usernames and passwords. Employment documents such as employment contracts and resumes were not affected by this incident.
